On the 19th of December 2023, the Worlem Adzimah Foundation orchestrated a compassionate donation drive at the Accra Psychiatry Female Acute Ward, leaving a lasting impact. The dedicated team, spearheaded by Dr. Emelia Darko Adzimah and Mr. Worlanyo Komla Adzimah, presented a diverse array of items to benefit the ward.

Among the contributions were a state-of-the-art Television set, emphasizing the importance of recreation and entertainment. To address the residents’ daily needs, the foundation generously provided 30 sets each of toiletries and detergents, along with 25 towels and 35 sponges for personal hygiene.
In a thoughtful gesture towards healthcare essentials, the donation included 10 boxes of disposal gloves, ensuring a sanitary environment. Recognizing the importance of rest, 5 Makentsh mattresses were also part of the donation, contributing to the comfort of the ward’s occupants.

To enhance the overall living conditions, an ample supply of bed linens was included, emphasizing the foundation’s commitment to holistic support. Additionally, 20 hair/body cosmetic items were donated, recognizing the significance of personal care.

Acknowledging the importance of monitoring health parameters, the foundation contributed 2 BP monitors, underscoring their dedication to the well-being of the psychiatric ward’s residents. Through this comprehensive donation, the Worlem Adzimah Foundation exemplifies its mission to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
